Fall is in full swing, and I’ve got the just the thing that will augment your autumn wardrobe. Actually, I’ve got three things and these three things were made from beads recycled from an old lampshade. Years ago, my aunt gave me these beads because she knew I liked beads. She told me that the beads used to dangle in strands around the edge of a lampshade. Unfortunately, the lampshade had to go, but the beads were still in good shape. So she salvaged them and gave them to me and I couldn’t figure out what to do with them for several years.
Fast forward, and here we are. I noticed that the beads were mostly warm shades and reminded me of falling leaves. I played around with a few different designs, before settling with these two earring designs and one bracelet design.
All of these pieces are up for sale in my Etsy shop, Yellow Raspberry Jewelry. But my shop is currently on vacation and won’t reopen until Black Friday, November 27. So if you want to buy any of these items, I suggest you wait until then. (And also keep up with this blog, because there will probably be coupon codes for Black Friday. Hint, hint.)
